Is it possible to enable the featured image on the Posts page? I have selected a page for displaying posts but I don’t seem to be able to add a featured image at the top whereas I can on all the other pages.

I have looked through various help pages on the web and I get the impression it is a theme adjustment rather than a WordPress issue. I may be wrong!

Any help would be good, thanks.

    Hi James

You can add the blog image like the screenshot http://prntscr.com/vnazd7.

Let us know if it works.

    Thanks

    Hi
Thanks but I am trying to add a featured image to the Posts page, not the individual post.

    Please see screenshot: https://prnt.sc/vndo1b

    Thanks for your help.

    Hi James Mills

Blog featured image support only provided for the particular blog featured image.

And WordPress did not allow the featured image for the blog page. But you can display the featured image for the default page template.

    Hope you understand.

If you have any query please let us know.

    Thanks

Thanks. I got round this by using a featured image in a sticky post pinned to the top. Seems to work!
