    Duh. Why can’t I delete my own forum posts? It’s fine, the meta information was just buried where I didn’t look hard enough, sorry. Please delete this.
    For some reason, Linkedin is not picking up the og description information from the webpage when ot auto-posts blog posts from the RSS feed,
    But this isn’t the reason. The og description is there in the page.
    back to trying to figure it out….

    OK Rocket was confusing the results, even in Troubleshooting mode.

    With every single plugin deactivated except AIOSEO, I can reliably turn AIOSEO’s meta data off by switching themes. ArileWP prevents it writing head meta. Thoughts?

    Gah! It is more complex: I can’t consistently reproduce this 🙁

    Ignore last comment. it only sets
    <head>
    <meta charset=”<?php bloginfo( ‘charset’ ); ?>”>
    <meta name=”viewport” content=”width=device-width, initial-scale=1″>
    <meta http-equiv=”x-ua-compatible” content=”ie=edge”>

    <?php if ( is_singular() && pings_open( get_queried_object() ) ) : ?>
    <link rel=”pingback” href=”<?php esc_url(bloginfo( ‘pingback_url’ )); ?>”>
    <?php endif; ?>

    <?php wp_head(); ?>
    </head>

    I can’t work out what is stopping AIOSEO from writing the HEAD meta

    I see from header.php you are hard coding the meta information???

    (I’m using the free AIOSEO Lite so should be easy to reproduce)

    That seems to work, thank-you. It means the portfolio page will just load all projects, no matter how many? that’s better than cutting them off.

    How about the scrollable region for projects on the front-page? I guess that is alwa6ys going to be limited to the latest few?

    yes i am increasing that value.

    But I don’t want to increase it too far or else my WP blog page will get huge. (You do realise it also affects the blog and other parts of WP, right?)

    the blog is scrollable, so if I have more blog entries than the number in that setting, i can scroll to the rest.

    ArileWP Projects are not scrollable, so once I have this number of projects, nobody can see the rest. What then?

    Using multiple project catagories has no effect on the Portfolio page or the frontpage slider. You can only show one category, and its fixed.

    So how do i handle, say, 20 or more projects? how do I show them to people on the frontpage or on the portfolio page?

    I see.

    But a blog page is page-able to the next 8. the portfolio page or the Projects area on the ArileWP frontpage aren’t.

    So if i increase this my blog page gets bigger and bigger as a side effect. i plan to have many many Projects.
