    Hi,

I recently purchased NewsExpo Pro and the social icons are completely unusable. I can’t edit them at all. In the customiser, the widget to edit them is just frozen. I’ve tried both clicking the down arrow to edit the existing icons and clicking the plus icon to add a new icon and neither of them work. Please help. If I can’t use the social icons, I can’t use the theme and will need to ask for a refund.

    Thanks!

Thanks for contacting us. Don’t worry, we are here to help you.

Please share your site URL and any snapshot of the issue so we can take a look at it and then investigate the problem.

Could you please let us know about the social icons that you want to add to the site?

    Hi,

Thanks for getting back to me. The site isn’t live yet so I can’t share the URL. But here’s a screenshot of as far as I can get to with the Customiser:

I’m unable to click either the downward arrow to edit the link or the plus icon to create a new link. The area is totally unclickable. When I hover above the social icon blocks, the drag icon appears, but I’m unable to drag them.

The social icons I’d like to create are Instagram, TikTok, Facebook and BlueSky.

    Hi Maxine Roper

It is probably a plugin conflict issue. Please deactivate each plugin one by one and check your site.

Let us know if it works for you.

    Thanks

Hi! Yes, it was a plugin conflict issue! All sorted now, thanks so much! FYI for anyone else having this issue, the SiteSEO Pro plugin was the problem, and deactivating it solved it.
