If I add test projects, the oldest ones drop off the display, even thought hey are still published. if i unpublish the test projects, the other older projects reappear, up to 9. Older ones don’t

    I see.

But a blog page is page-able to the next 8. the portfolio page or the Projects area on the ArileWP frontpage aren’t.

So if i increase this my blog page gets bigger and bigger as a side effect. i plan to have many many Projects.

Using multiple project catagories has no effect on the Portfolio page or the frontpage slider. You can only show one category, and its fixed.

So how do i handle, say, 20 or more projects? how do I show them to people on the frontpage or on the portfolio page?

yes i am increasing that value.

But I don’t want to increase it too far or else my WP blog page will get huge. (You do realise it also affects the blog and other parts of WP, right?)

the blog is scrollable, so if I have more blog entries than the number in that setting, i can scroll to the rest.

ArileWP Projects are not scrollable, so once I have this number of projects, nobody can see the rest. What then?

    Hi Rob

Ok, you can increase your number of projects on the portfolio page using the below-customized code.

Please go to arilewp-pro >> template-parts >> content-portfolio.php file and paste the below link code.

That seems to work, thank-you. It means the portfolio page will just load all projects, no matter how many? that’s better than cutting them off.

How about the scrollable region for projects on the front-page? I guess that is alwa6ys going to be limited to the latest few?
