marquee effect in main slider

Hi,
I am trying to create marquee effect to text in main slider. Using <marquee> tags does not work. Is it possible to have text scroll from down to up? It is very long text and will not fit without scroll. I even do not need slider, just one picture in front page and scrolling text in it.

Second, I have transparent header in use. In front page, when you scroll down, header goes white, but logo does not change to transparent logo, in other pages it does.

Hi Ismo

We have checked your site and marquees tag is working well on the slider text.

And please add the more section content in the FrontPage so it will display the sticky header like the other pages.
