Blog tiles on home page and sidebar

Is there a way to configure settings so that the blog tiles on the front page (and the sidebar) show as snippets with read more… instead of the full post? That is what is shown in the support video here https://helpdoc.themearile.com/?docs=consultstreet-pro/how-to-configure-blog-on-home-page, but I can’t figure out how to make that happen on my site.

Thanks. That worked for the home page, but not the side bar. Previously, the side bar automatically truncated the post and added Read more… But now in the side bar, the post is truncated to where I put the More Block, but it does not say Read more…

Also, is there a way to limit the number of post tiles that appear on the home page? I thought it was limited to 3, but when I made a 4th post, the tiles started wrapping on the home page.
