Adding Hover Effect to Image

Hello Keymaster,

I would like to add a dynamic layer to some of my Images, so when I hover with my mouse, you can see a word/phrase and the background gets darker. According to me this is not possible in the default mode.

Please advice.

This customization is out of the scope of theme design because we need lots of code customization for this work.

So you need to hire a developer to do this work.

But you can use the gallery plugins from https://wordpress.org/plugins/search/gallery/.
