The code works to move the theme info area on top, but along with that the services section is also moving on top which we donot need.

Oh sorry, i think there is some misunderstanding. 🙂

The current service layout we have used is Image. But when we hover over the image it shows two icons (search and link).
But what we want is – just the image, we want to hide the icons displayed on image when we hover, or either want to change those icons,

In the documentation it has option to select layout with image or icon.

So we want to use service layput with image but we need to change the icons that are shown on the image when we hover as seen in this attached image:

Also we have already made some changes to the current theme, so if we enable child theme it will inherit the changes of parent theme?
