Yes, you can set different post categories for the masonry blog layouts to follow the help article https://helpdoc.themearile.com/?docs=arilewp-pro/how-to-setup-blog-pages but we have not provided a category selection for other blog layouts. But we will try to add this setting in the future then let you know.
