I would like to have a summary or excerpt show on the home page instead of the full post. Is there a setting I am missing somewhere or do I need to incorporate a widget or plugin?

Adding the “More” block solved this problem. Putting the text in the excerpt did not work.
Thanks the problem is solved the ticket can close.
